I'm frustrated because commenting is closed for the New York Times article (http://community.nytimes.com/comments/www.nytimes.com/2011/01/18/opinion/18brooks.html).
Dr. Chua seeks to amend her original first essay in the Wall Street Journal--to me, this is fine, but the WSJ essay should stand as it is. So, if she comes off as anti-children or anti-good-development, so be it. It's no good (and not very convincing) to say: wait, that's not what I meant..., I was kidding...)
So, everyone: have at it. I will never close comments, and I am interested in everything.
